But just because you are taking a well-deserved break and playing in the sun doesn't mean your business, or sales, have to stop.
Here are 3 things you can put in place so sales, and profits, keep rolling in even when you are off playing!
- Use a program such as Hootsuite or BufferApp to systematically distribute your previous blog posts and messages throughout your social media channels. You can upload enough posts for a month or longer at one time and schedule the times you want them released. At least half of them should include a call-to-action. But remember, a call-to-action doesn't always mean you are asking for the sale.
- Create a weekly message relevant to your business and "summer" and upload into your auto-responder. These messages go out to the people on your list - those who already said, "yes, I want more information from you!". I like to schedule them every 6 or 8 days apart so each message arrives on a different day of the week. This gives us a better chance of having our messages seen and read.
- Hire a part-time virtual assistant to market for you while you are away. You'd be amazed at how much a good VA can accomplish in just a couple of hours a week.
Implementing these simple steps will help you relax and enjoy your summer WITHOUT running out of money or paying for it later by working longer hours.
