The horse is standing in a pasture filled with green, lush, sweet grass. But the horse doesn't notice what she has; only what she doesn't.
Sometimes it's like that for us as business owners. We focus on what is on the other side of the fence instead of what we have available to us right now.
Are you blind to or not taking advantage of what's available to you right now?
Does someone else look at all you have and long after it, just like this horse longs for the grass on the other side of the fence?
Here's the world according to Sue Henry: If you use what you have, nourish it so it grows back even stronger, and allow space for the seeds to find ground, germinate, and grow, you'll have more than you can ever use. You'll have an abundance you can share. An abundance that keeps giving.
Think of the problems you solve for people. You are making a difference in their lives, right? So instead of looking over the fence at how much business you perceive others are getting, focus on how to attract more of the people you can help right now.
The grass isn't greener on the other side of the fence. The grass is greener where you water and feed it.
