YES! I believe that good, effective copy is more essential than ever! Marketers, and their short marketing blasts, have conditioned consumers to keep moving at a fast pace. Instead of the 7-10 seconds we had to grab someone's attention, we now have only 3-5 seconds to capture it. And to keep their interest, we need to make our words come alive, jump off the page, (or audio) and make the reader or listener EMOTIONALLY FEEL our message.
It's great copy that gets the prospect to become interested enough to click on the link... to sign up... to read or listen to the message... and then to act.
This doesn't happen by accident. It requires a well thought-out strategy based on your ideal prospect's pain and the results he or she wants. Whether you are offering a video training program, live webinar or telesummit, the right words can draw the eye of your prospect into your message. Without a carefully worded marketing message, your video training program, live webinar, or telesummit will be ignored. Your products need to be really good but your marketing message (and wording) needs to be excellent.
The written word, when done correctly, transports the reader to another place, time, and emotion. When your prospects are emotionally engaged, you have their attention. When you tie the emotional engagement to the desired outcome or results, you will have sales.
