When you understand how to position yourself for prosperity, why in the world would you settle for anything less?
New technology and innovations create new niches which are generally monopolized by big business… but eventually large companies/empires become lazy, bogged down with bureaucracy and overextended… leaving holes for younger, more hungry competitors to take advantage of.
Eventually these younger competitors start to chip away at the monopoly’s market share, leaving an opportunity for entrepreneur-minded people who dream of "more".
Many big companies and corporations have become insensitive to our needs. Our families scrimp, cut back, and do without to get by while big-time executives are awarded bigger and better bonuses.
We've moved into a phase of wanting and needing to figure out how "we the people" can enjoy prosperity.
The worse the economy gets, the more people look to start a home-based business that can generate an extra $100-$500 (or more) a month - enough to make it to pay for what their shrinking paychecks can no longer cover. We're busy working our 8-5 job for paycheck security that is no-longer secure, but at in our free time, we're dreaming, researching, and plotting a course to create a profitable business we can work from home. And maybe, just maybe, it can someday replace our paycheck and we can leave our 8-5 behind.
However, at the same time, for those of us who are already in the home-based business industry, advertising gets harder and harder and the competition becomes overwhelming when we merely follow the "same old, same old" methods.
As the industry gets more competitive, it becomes almost impossible to keep up with all the changes going on. People look to others who claim to be successful. The buy lots of programs, courses, register for free reports and ebooks and try to put all of these ideas into a logical sequence that generates results. They spend money they don't have, positive that soon they'll recoup that money and much more.
And months later, when their credit cards are maxed, their frustration is boiling over, and their dreams are almost crushed, they stall. They, took the painful, expensive, and longest route possible to find success.
They lick their wounds, vow to do it differently, and come back to the home-business circle. But this time they are wiser. Their experience allows them to ask better questions that sort the "talkers" from the "doers".
They look for mentors or coaches who can guide them through the treacherous landmine field to a faster and easier income stream. Or they join direct sales or networking companies that offer them the opportunity to market online without the knowledge of their boss, co-workers, friends, and sometimes even family.
They look for personal help and guidance from others, form partnerships and relationships, and tap into the knowledge and skill sets of others those who have already achieved success.
