Here's a simple tip that will help you convert those contacts into sales: Have them rate their level of interest on the card or form!
If you are a speaker - have 2-3 options on the bottom of your "tips" sheet. For me, one of those options is "____ Yes, I'd like to hear more about your 12-week coaching program." Within the summary of my master talk I'll address this and tell the audience, "If you'd like to know more about my 12-week coaching program, please indicate your interest level. Write a 1 if you are barely interested and a 5 if you are thinking I want this NOW!"
If attended an event and people request more information about what you offer - Ask the person to rate their level of interest and write down a number between 1-5. One if they are barely interested and a 5 if they are HOT!"
When you get back home from the event, you'll be able to sort through the contacts and focus on your "hottest" prospects before they cool off! Once you've made contact with them, you can work your way through the rest of the contacts based on their interest level.
If you follow up with 24 business hours after the event, your sales will significantly increase! This is just one way you can turn each event into a profit stream for your business!
