That's where I am.
I've been blessed with growing a successful business. It wasn't an accident - there was a lot of hard work, studying, and tears along the way. In my gut, I always felt that something was missing. But I didn't know what to look for because I didn't know what I didn't know...
Recently I was introduced to an online training company that filled in the big piece that was missing for me - the marketing funnel.
Yeah, I've heard about marketing funnels but never actually met anyone who used theirs as a filter when deciding what products or services should be offered, at what point, to whom, and how it all flowed together. The business professionals that had sales or marketing funnels used them the same way many companies use their company mission statement - looks pretty hanging on the wall and sounds good but is rarely considered by the business owner or employees.
This course is hard work. I've had to go back to the beginning and rethink and restructure how I do certain things and when is the best time to do them. Does it filter through my marketing funnel or is it a distraction?
Going back to the beginning is considered a set-back by some... Most people would apply bandages to the parts that were "leaking" and hope for the best. But I want to build a sustainable business that will last for many years, provide great income, and help more people who are looking for what I offer.
Do you have a marketing funnel? If so, do you review it at least once a week?
If you don't have a marketing funnel, would you be interested in learning how to build it with short (less than 5 minute each) training modules - one for each of the 5 components of the marketing funnel?
I'm currently working on this video series and will be rolling it out in August. It will be my gift to all who are interested. I'll keep you posted on the details!
