Does it bring in sales and profits consistently, even when you can't be there?
There's a lot of chatter lately about eCommerce and how an eBay or Amazon business is the golden ticket to unlimited cash. Or at least that's the hype filling our inboxes, popup ads, etc. If you've been in business any length of time, you've seen fads, gimmicks, and "fail proof" ideas come and go.
I believe that the eCommerce excitement is real and can impact every business. But I didn't believe that at first.
You see, I had no intention of starting another business. I'm a coach and figured eCommerce didn't apply to me. But then I started watching people that I knew start making money. Many of them were using eCommerce to expand sales of products that they either created and/or would be relevant to their customers. They weren't starting a new business, they were merely adding another income stream to the business they already had. And when I saw that they were actually making sales and generating profits through their eCommerce efforts, I was intrigued.
So I tried it. And guess what? I had sales! My first products were listed and sent to Amazon in April, 2015. Some of them sold. Most of them made a profit. So I found more items that made sense for my vision and goals. And guess what? Many of them sold with a sweet profit. In 3 months I've had more than $1,000 in sales. That number will increase as I add more inventory.
It's a sweet deal for my and my customers. I buy and send the items into Amazon. When they are sold, Amazon collects the money, ships the product, deals with any customer issues, etc. The fees are low and already added to my expenses before I purchase the items so I buy knowing my profit margin.
It's creating one more income stream from my little business. And I loved that people were buying from me, even when I spent 2 weeks with my daughter, son-in-law, and new little granddaughter.
Ecommerce may not be for everyone I get it. But I do believe it can fill a financial void that many people are experiencing. It's not magic. It's not guaranteed. Like anything, you need to learn the right skills to become successful. You have to apply what you learn. And you want to learn from someone who has a track record of teaching others who are generating more than $100,000 in sales within their first year of starting.
You can adapt it to your current business or start a second business that you can grow over time. (I'm planning on using my eCommerce income to supplement my retirement when it finally comes AND for traveling to all those places I've only experienced via House Hunters International!)
If I've piqued your interest, I hope you will check this out. She and her team are teaching solid tactics, strategies, and systems that really work. They apply them first on eBay and Amazon and then, when they work well, the trainings are rolled out to the rest of us. This isn't just some idea or theory - these are the same exact activities they are doing to generate hundreds of thousands of dollars in sales each year. And it's all offered at a low, monthly fee.

Remember, you can either settle for the income and lifestyle others assign to you OR you can reach out and grab what you truly desire. Ecommerce can be a life changer.
